ISA MEMBER FINE ART SHOW

Show Title: “Contrasts In Canvas: Large and Small Works from the Intermountain Society of Artists”  
Show Dates: Oct 25th through November 19th, 2024
Location: Pioneer Theatre Company- Loge Gallery, University of Utah, 300 S 1400 E, Salt Lake City, Utah 84112
Deadline: The entry period runs from September 1st and ends at 11:59 PM PST on September 20th, 2024.

Requirements:  ISA members in good standing can submit their paintings. (2024 dues have been paid in order to participate).
Small art no larger than 10” on the longest side excluding frame and large art no longer than 24” on the longest side excluding frame are the accepted sizes for this exhibit.  
All artwork submitted must be an original creation by the artist and cannot be older than three years (2022-2024).  Any photos used for reference NOT taken by the artist or taken from royalty free websites must have written permission from the photographer.  
Paintings shall be ready to install when brought in.  Paintings shall be wired using D-rings and framing wire. Frames shall be gallery quality and be in good condition with no obvious visual or structural defects.  No sawtooth hangers or similar devices shall be used. Paintings submitted on drop off day using sawtooth hangers or similar devices will be rejected.  Gallery wrapped canvas artwork with a depth of at least 2” will be accepted without framing. Any canvas on gallery wrapped paintings submitted without a frame that is loose and floppy will be rejected.  Sculptures must include pedestals to display the 3D work. Glass glazing is acceptable for protecting watercolor, pastels, mixed media or any other work that requires glazing for protection
Artwork exhibited at the Loge Gallery in prior exhibits will not be accepted.
Art work, including sold pieces, must remain on exhibit until the show closes.
Show Theme:  This exhibit will feature small art with some larger work displayed. This is a family friendly event.  All subject matter except nude or offensive material is permissible. This includes landscapes, seascapes, contemporary, still life, animal, abstracts, cityscapes, portrait, and local views. This will allow members full expression of their love affair with art.
Medium: All traditional mediums except digital art. Oils, acrylics, watercolors, pastels, inks, mixed media, reduction prints and one-of-a-kind limited prints are accepted.  
ISA and the Loge Gallery have the right to not accept submitted work that does not meet the above specified requirements 

Commissions/Awards:  All art must be for sale.  The Loge Gallery will charge 30% commission.  
Fees and Entry Information: 
You may submit up to three small paintings and one large painting for a total of four pieces of artwork for a flat fee of $30.00.  

• Entries should be 1920 pixels on the longest side @ 72 dpi and under 4 mb. To convert your image to 1920 pixels @ 72 dpi, follow this link: https://www.onlinejuriedshows.com/1920FileUpload.aspx. Save the new image to your computer and choose the new file when completing your entry form.

This is a juried event.  
Notifications:   

• Notifications will be sent via Constant Contact once the results are ready to view in their profiles.  

Artwork Drop-off: FRIDAY, October 18th 2024 from 5 PM to 7 PM
Artwork Pickup: SATURDAY, November 16th from 10 AM to 12 Noon
