Approximately 180 exceptional works by Associate and Signature artists will be selected, showcasing excellence in draftsmanship, color, and composition while celebrating diversity in style and subject matter.<br /><br />Over $20,000 in cash and merchandise awards will be presented.<br /><br />Artists and guests are also invited to attend opening weekend events. The Opening Reception will take place on July 31 from 5:00&ndash;7:00 pm MDT, and Awards Judge James Crandall, OPAM, will present a live painting demonstration during the opening weekend.<br /><br />We would greatly appreciate your help in sharing this opportunity with your members. Expect minor charred areas or faint smoke odors on the far east side.</span></li></ul> <span>Top Painting Spots (Wagon-Friendly)</span><ul><li><span><span><span style="font-weight:600">The South Lawn &amp; Memorial House:</span></span> Best for zero walking. Located right next to the parking area. Deep morning tree shade and historic brick architecture.</span></li></ul><ul><li><span><span><span style="font-weight:600">Peredra Fountain (Sunken Garden):</span></span> A flat 2-minute walk up the central paved path. Features stone tiers, ivy, and deep cliffside shadows.</span></li></ul><ul><li><span><span><span style="font-weight:600">Meditation Chapel Pond &amp; Creek:</span></span> A flat 5-minute walk up the paved path. Ideal for those wanting to walk further. Features weeping willows, still pond reflections, and rushing water.</span></li></ul> <span>Parking &amp; Logistics</span><ul><li><span><span><span style="font-weight:600">Target Arrival Time:</span></span> <span><span style="font-weight:600">7:30 AM &ndash; 8:15 AM</span></span> this Saturday. Space fills up rapidly by 8:30 AM.</span></li></ul><ul><li><span><span><span style="font-weight:600">Primary Parking:</span></span> Parallel street parking along <span><span style="font-weight:600">Canyon Road</span></span> or the small turnaround loop at the park gate.</span></li></ul><ul><li><span><span><span style="font-weight:600">Wagon Route:</span></span> Stick to the main Canyon Road entrance.
