To all ISA members.
The Loge Gallery at the Pioneer Theatre Company located on the Utah University Campus is hosting our show starting January 28th through February 11th, 2026.  Pioneer Theatre will be presenting the musical “Ten Brave Seconds” and we will have the opportunity to show our talents at that time.

 ISA chose to use Online Juried Shows to manage members submittals and entry fees. 

September December 1st 2025 is when members can start entering their submittals. The last day to submit is January 11th, 2026.

This is an open show and members can submit up to 4 paintings for the show. Two small paintings with the longest side no longer than 10” excluding frame and two larger paintings with the longest side no longer than 24” excluding frame.

If you have never used Online Juried Shows, you will have to create an account.  There is NO charge to create this account.   The direct link to the show is https://www.OnlineJuriedShows.com/Default.aspx?OJSID=58919
 It will take you directly to the show. 

Log in starting December 1st.  You can go directly go to the top of the screen and look for the prospectus.  Click on that.  CAREFULLY read the prospectus and follow the instructions before continuing with the website. 

This site allows you to edit your images to the CORRECT format for the website.  It is recommended you do not wait until the last hour to submit your entries.  Submit as early as you can to avoid any potential technical problems.

Once you have read the prospectus, and have edited the images of the four pieces of artwork you wish to enter, click on enter images. There are two live links. One for 2D artwork and one for 3D artwork.  Click on the appropriate link.
​Carefully read the instructions (on the right side of the screen) before you start entering your four images. Make sure you have all the information on your artwork with you so it will go quickly.

You will need to have ready the following:

• The images you want to submit.  This is where you already have an image of your painting(s) that will be filed in your computer.  Ensure you take photos of your artwork where there is diffuse sunlight reflecting all around you to get the best true colors of the artwork.   Do not take photos in a shadowy area.  Also, you will need to edit your image to ensure just the artwork shows. No frames or anything else is showing.  
• Title of the artwork
• The artwork size in inches
• Medium used
• The frame size in inches
• Price
• Description of the artwork

Use the “browse” link to find your artwork in your computer. Click on the selected artwork and follow the instructions.
Once your have entered all the information you can save the entry and return later to complete. Note:  If you decide to save your entry and log out, you will have to go through the entire process of logging in, finding the ISA show, clicking on it and click enter show select either 2D or 3D.  All of your saved work will show up. Once you have completed your entries, click on the go to review and checkout to complete your submittal and pay the entry fees. 

Our contract with the Pioneer states all artwork shall be for sale and a 30% commission will be paid to the gallery. Price your work accordingly.

Artist Rob Chipman will share everything he has learned from his trial and error (mostly error)
journey as he has attempted to master the centuries old art of reduction block printmaking.
Get hands-on experience creating a single-layer block print. All materials will be provided.
What you will likely learn by the end of the night is that you never want create art this way! But,
you may well gain some insights that will influence your preferred way of creating art.

Rob Chipman - Artist Bio

As an artist, I am largely a self-taught, late-bloomer. I took some art classes in high school and
graphic design classes at the University of Utah, but at the age of 72, those were a long time
ago. However, my very first woodcut was selected for a high school exhibition. I had never even
heard of the term “reduction block print” until seeing some for the first time in a Carmel gallery in
the 80’s. I fell in love with their look and process of producing them. I studied all I could by
checking out books from the library (keep in mind these were pre-Google days). I experimented
doing a few prints back then, but never had the time to devote to it. After selling my business in
2017, I decided it was time to become a full-time artist and continue to develop my process for
creating this relatively unique art form.
I have produced over 80 original print editions (some taking up to a month to complete) since
embarking on this new career, most of which can be seen on my website at
www.robchipmanart.com or @robchipmanart on Instagram . I’m as busy as an artist as I ever
was as an entrepreneur – and enjoying it more!
With no formal art education and being very late to the game, I am humbled and grateful that my
work has resonated with so many people. In addition to selling over 500 of my original prints –
many editions even selling out – my work has been accepted into and won awards at several
prestigious juried art shows in Utah and beyond. I have also had solo shows at the Finch Lane
Gallery, Bountiful Davis Art Center, Relics Gallery, and was a featured artist in Season 2 of
BYUtv’s “Artful” series. To help more artists get their work seen and sold, I founded Art at The
Park in 2022. From 2019 to 2024, I served as President of ISA.
